Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Three to five years of experience with full-cycle accounts payable in an enterprise resource planning system is required, along with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes and best practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including experience with pivot tables and other advanced functions.
  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems, such as Infor LN, and Power BI is required.
  • The role requires effective communication with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • The role requires the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • The role requires strong organization, problem-solving ability, and time-management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end supplier setup and validation process while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Uphold data-integrity standards to ensure the accuracy of financial records and reports.
  • Process weekly payment runs, including automated clearing house payments, wire transfers, and manual checks, accurately and on time.
  • Act as a point of contact for dispute resolution and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve invoicing issues.
  • Process high-volume vendor invoices.
  • Review vendor invoices against purchase orders for quantity, unit price, payment terms, and other charges.
  • Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Handle voids, stop payments, check reissues, and stale-dated checks.
  • Maintain files and documentation accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Support month-end closing, accruals, and reporting.
  • Ensure statutory compliance and provide audit support.
  • Provide ad hoc support for special projects and process improvements.
  • Provide relevant accounts payable documentation during audits.
