About the job
- Successful completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant program is required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand spoken English to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and visitors when responding to their medical and physical needs.
- Basic knowledge of computers or willingness to learn is required.
- Must attend a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education programs provided by the center to maintain certification.
- Work a minimum of two shifts per week, including every other weekend, or work full-time hours depending on open shifts.
- Deliver efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient and family satisfaction.
- Perform patient-care activities and related nonprofessional services essential to caring for patients' personal needs and comfort.
