- Good understanding of agile application development lifecycle and build and deployment pipelines for .net applications
- Experience Designing and building JSON or REST services
- Experience working with 3rd party APIs, AWS APIs, Docker or other containers, large-scale or distributed web applications, Test Driven Development and functional testing
- Understanding of various design patterns and OOP paradigm
- Experience in RESTful and security of API design
- Knowledge in at least 1 OOP language
- Enhance the experiences of customers, solve interesting challenges, and design new solutions
- Takes personal responsibility for quality and maintainability of the product and actively identifies areas for improvement
- Identifies problems/risks of own work and others
- May have role in supervising others or leading moderately sized projects
- Possesses empathy with the user of the software they are producing and uses that empathy to guide decision-making
- Follow SDLC processes, including adopting agile-based processes/meetings, peer code-reviews, and technical preparations required for scheduled releases
- Partner with product and analytics and drive requirements that take into account all parties' needs
- Own the technical testing and performance plan for their projects
- Expanded Code review responsibilities, including OWASP SSDLC assessment
- Strong ability to mentor and guide junior developers
- Develop sophisticated software without supervision
- Identify and proactively tackle technical debt before it grows into debt that requires significant up-front work to resolve
- Set direction at the project/service level and consistently influence decision-making
- Develop large complex features and tackle difficult defects
- Provide technical advice and weigh in on technical decisions that impact other teams or the company at large
- Explore, research, and propose new technologies
- Understand all industry jargon and business concepts to better understand the challenges our technology is designed to solve
- Identify viable alternative solutions and present them
- Give constructive feedback to team members
- Interact directly with customers when needed
