Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate a clear and compelling product strategy and vision, aligning with the organization's broader business objectives.
  • Oversee multiple products and product lines within the portfolio, ensuring consistency and synergy between different offerings.
  • Lead a team of Product Managers and Product Owners, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for their roles and responsibilities.
  • Foster strong collaboration between product teams, engineering, design, marketing, sales, finance, services, support and other relevant departments to ensure the effective execution of the product strategy.
  • Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes. Use this information to identify opportunities and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Create and manage a product roadmap that defines the product's strategic goals, milestones, and timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior executives and other key stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on product portfolio performance.
  • Allocate resources and budgets across the product portfolio to maximize return on investment and growth.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact product development or the success of the portfolio.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-life, making decisions regarding updates, enhancements, and product retirements.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as the P&L for the product portfolio, using data to make strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus, incorporating voice of customer (VoC) and needs into the product portfolio strategy and development.
