Core Scientific has secured $600 million in senior secured credit facilities, consisting of a $100 million revolving credit facility and a $500 million letter of credit facility. The Miami-based digital infrastructure company will use the revolving facility for general corporate purposes and working capital. The facilities are expected to release approximately $300 million of restricted cash, improving capital efficiency and financial flexibility. Borrowings under the three-year revolving facility will bear interest at Adjusted Term SOFR plus 1.75% or an alternate base rate plus 0.75%. Letters of credit will carry an annual fee of 1.75% plus a 0.125% fronting fee. Morgan Stanley Senior Funding acted as Lead Left Arranger, whilst JPMorgan Chase Bank serves as Administrative Agent. Goldman Sachs and TD Securities participated as Joint Lead Arrangers. The obligations are secured by a first-priority lien on substantially all company assets.

Core Scientific has completed its acquisition of Polaris DS for approximately $444 million in cash. The deal secures roughly 440 megawatts of gross, grid-connected power capacity currently in service under existing electric service agreements with Oklahoma Gas & Electric. Through site acquisitions this year, Core Scientific has added more than 600 megawatts of leasable power to its portfolio. The company reiterated plans to scale its Muskogee campus to approximately 1.5 gigawatts of gross power through grid-connected and behind-the-meter solutions. Needham raised its price target for Core Scientific to $35 from $29, maintaining a Buy rating after the company secured a 15-year infrastructure partnership with AMD. The target implies 69% upside from the July closing price of $20.75. Core Scientific's initial agreements with AMD cover approximately 530 MW of critical IT capacity across five US sites, representing over $14 billion in potential base revenue. AMD will directly lease 377 MW under a triple-net structure, whilst an unnamed neocloud will lease another 152 MW with AMD credit support.
