  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, email, group messaging, data collection, internet, database, and spreadsheet programs.
  • Ability to walk, stand, talk, hear, stoop, climb, pull, push, reach, use repetitive motions, and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Receive direction and priorities from the Facilities and Maintenance Manager and assist with and complete assigned work projects.
  • Perform general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds.
  • Maintain buildings and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory records and files.
  • Prepare reports and monitor and prioritize maintenance schedules to ensure tasks are completed timely.
  • Clean and repair floors, toilets, sinks, walls, roofs, stairways, carpets, and other structures.
  • Contact outside agencies to schedule services and inspections by trained personnel.
  • Obtain required permits as appropriate.
  • Arrange for disposal of hazardous waste and chemicals.
  • Coordinate and complete several projects simultaneously.
  • Forecast issues and plan preventive maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety practices and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with staff and vendors.
  • Work with the team and assist wherever needed.
  • Complete work orders, inspect move-outs, and turn units within the expected time frame.
  • Conduct annual unit inspections.
  • Walk assigned buildings weekly to identify and address work orders that need to be generated.
