  • The Business Continuity Program Consultant shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years.
  • Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.
  • The minimum of 4 years of consulting or general relevant work experience.
  • Consultant holds a bachelor’s degree and will provide a combination of the following: Demonstrated experience performing project tasks; Experience in one or more of the key project areas; Supports implementation of business operations improvements or project tasks; Strategic Planning Certification or Equivalent Experience; Strong Writing and Verbal Communications Skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Location: CONUS - Silver Spring, MD (Plus Work Remotely).
  • Travel as coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization” by the USG’s designated Security Office.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain updated business continuity plans as tasked in coordination with the Federal Government Agency, Agency Stakeholders, and Collaborating Partners.
  • Update business continuity plan and procedures and coordinate review and approval by the Federal Government Agency's Office of Security and Emergency Management.
  • Develop and conduct an Information Systems Continuity Plan (ISCP) and tabletop exercises to demonstrate the effectiveness of business continuity planning.
  • Develop and maintain distribution lists for business continuity and emergency operations (e.g., emergency phone trees aligned with the Federal Government Agency's Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP)).
