  • 10+ years of relevant experience at law firm and in-house counsel, preferably at a healthcare company
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and Member of a State Bar in good standing
  • Knowledge of tech and healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, CCPA, GDPR, and state data privacy, and FTC laws
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and growing environment and seeks to work in a collaborative framework
Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day legal matters of the company and provide legal counsel and advise to the Executive and Leadership teams relating to legal issues
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including commercial, partnerships, supply, and vendor contracts
  • Provide guidance and manage corporate governance matters, including board meetings, corporate policies, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Stay current with relevant industry regulations and laws impacting the healthcare tech sector and consumer
  • Manage company’s intellectual property portfolio, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights
  • Identity legal risk and mitigate them
  • Provide guidance on data protection and privacy laws, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Manage litigation matters and work with external counsel as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive team members to provide legal insights and support for various business initiatives
