Certified Nursing Assistant
About the job
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant Certified Nursing Assistant experience, preferably in long-term care settings.
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant registration through the state of Wisconsin.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong communication skills and a teamwork attitude.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
- Applicants offered a position are subject to a caregiver background check and drug screen.
- Flu shots are required within 30 days of starting during flu season.
- Provide patient care while maintaining residents' comfort, privacy, and dignity.
- Assist with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and exercise.
- Follow resident care plans and provide support as outlined.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients as needed.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights.
- Complete tasks assigned by the nurse.
- Relocate to different care units based on resident needs when required.
- Monitor and record food and liquid intake, output, and vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Report changes in condition, wounds, bruises, or symptoms to nursing staff.
- Stay current with Certified Nursing Assistant training and facility policies.
- Certified Nursing Assistant experience in long-term care settings.
- Community-Based Residential Facility certifications.
