- Independently organize and coordinate workflows in functional departments such as the emergency department, endoscopy, and central sterilization in cooperation with physicians and nursing staff.
- Prepare and follow up the operating room.
- Plan, prepare, and conduct upcoming operations, including providing the required instruments, equipment, and consumable materials.
- Support the operating team before, during, and after operations.
- Perform instrumentation in various specialties and reprocess instruments and other operating-room accessories.
- Process and maintain medical instruments, apparatus, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with aseptic work practices and conduct hygienic measures in accordance with the hospital's internal hygiene plan.
- Independently complete operation and patient documentation and other administrative tasks.
- Instruct and train new employees, participants in specialist further training for operating-room services, and nursing students.
- Complete theoretical training at the Academy of Health Professions/OTA School in Tübingen and practical training at Robert Bosch Hospital in Stuttgart.
- Previous nursing internship experience, preferably in an operating room.
- A C1 language certificate is desirable.
