Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and other ad hoc reports.
  • Manage claims processing in line with Starr and Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and the applicable letter of authority, or when authority has been granted by an appropriate manager.
  • Proactively manage the DOCOsoft workflow, including diaries, and record claims accurately; attach all relevant documentation to each transaction and use comprehensive notes outlining current status and next steps to enhance claims outcomes and reduce static claims.
  • Process and manage settled direct claims, including diaries, on DOCOsoft.
  • Process SCM/USM items daily and bring incorrect allocations of premium signings to the attention of the Underwriting Operations department for correction by XCS.
  • Correct claim signings that have followed premium signing into suspense.
  • Process manual bridging reserves at each quarter close, then reconcile and remove them once the account has been updated.
  • Follow up on direct and manual fees.
  • Review loss fund adequacy and manage recovery of loss funds from prior years.
  • Upload bordereaux to DOCOsoft as appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage ECF/Lirma incompletes.
  • Provide general administrative support for diary, static, and fee follow-up for Complex Claims adjusters during busy periods and holiday cover.
  • Undertake other ad hoc administrative projects assigned to the CST.
  • Report any suspicion of financial crime immediately to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
  • Operate within the Company’s standards for Treating Customers Fairly in accordance with Consumer Duty regulatory requirements.
  • Manage potential conflicts of interest to avoid disrepute to the Company’s integrity.
  • Advise Compliance and Management immediately of any complaints.
  • Maintain complete, timely, and accurate performance records through Workday.
  • Advise Compliance and the Claims Manager immediately of any complaints.
