Requirements
A master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field from a college or university accredited by the United States Department of Education is required.
Prior experience with the served population is preferred.
Knowledge of child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems is required.
Must be license eligible (LSW, LMHCA, or LMFTA) by the State of Indiana and actively pursuing licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) by the State of Indiana.
Must be capable of exercising good judgment in crisis situations.
Must maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that meets the organization's guidelines and requirements.
Must be able to use a private car to transport self and others.
A drug screen, TB test, and extensive background checks are required, including criminal history, sex offender registry, state central registry, education verification, and professional references.

Provide behavioral health and/or child welfare-related services to multiple populations, including seriously mentally ill adults and youth and their families, in community and/or home settings to help them achieve identified goals.
Provide structured, goal-oriented, time-limited therapy in the natural environment.
Address issues including trauma, abuse and neglect, substance use, mental illness, personality or behavior disorders, dysfunctional family of origin, and current family dysfunction.

Position Summary
The Home Based Therapist will provide behavioral health and/or child welfare related services to multiple populations including seriously mentally ill adults and youth and their families in the community and/or home settings in order to achieve their identified goals. The Home Based Therapist will also provide structured, goal-oriented, time-limited therapy in the natural environment.
