About the Company

Monte Rosa Therapeutics

Develops targeted protein degraders for therapy

Monte Rosa Therapeutics develops molecular glue degraders (MGDs) to treat cancer and autoimmune/inflammatory diseases using its QuEEN discovery engine, a platform that fuses AI-guided chemistry, proteomics, and structural biology to design MGDs. MGDs work by bringing a target protein together with an E3 ligase, tagging the protein for destruction by the cell's proteasome rather than just inhibiting it. The company distinguishes itself with the QuEEN platform, partnerships with Roche and Novartis for joint development and funding, and a portfolio that includes MRT-2359, MRT-6160, and MRT-8102 as clinical-stage programs. Its goal is to discover, develop, and commercialize MGDs, grow its pipeline, and create value through collaborations, upfront payments, milestones, and royalties while delivering treatments for patients with serious diseases.
