About the job
- Experience in a similar position is preferred.
- Fluency in French and English is required.
- Knowledge of FOLS, Opera Cloud, and RESAWEB is preferred.
- Autonomy, versatility, and a strong team spirit are expected.
- Welcome and assist guests attentively from arrival through departure, contributing to ongoing guest satisfaction and the service quality and qualitative and quantitative objectives of the department.
- Build guest loyalty through warm, personalized service and anticipate guest needs.
- Handle concierge requests, including taxi and restaurant reservations.
- Address guest objections and remarks, providing a timely response.
- Represent the hotel's image and honor all reservation commitments.
- Handle guest arrival and departure operations according to internal procedures, and explain stay conditions, formalities, and hotel services.
- Manage telephone calls and email requests, and make reservations.
- Apply internal audit procedures and communicate necessary information to other departments and colleagues in the service team.
- Promote hotel services and the brand or group's loyalty program, adapting sales arguments to guest needs to optimize sales.
- Follow billing and payment procedures, manage the assigned cash float, and prepare and track the sending of miscellaneous debtor invoices.
- Provide bar service and keep the work area clean.
- Apply hotel safety procedures, including fire and evacuation procedures, and protect the safety of people and property.
- Follow the establishment's environmental charter commitments, including energy saving, recycling, and waste sorting.
- A third language is an advantage.
