- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, a related field, or equivalent work-related experience is required.
- Three or more years of full-cycle, high-volume recruiting experience is required.
- A working understanding of talent acquisition and/or human resource principles, practices, and procedures is required.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems is required.
- Proficiency in using job boards and resume-mining platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and ZipRecruiter is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint is required.
- Customer service experience with internal and external customers is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- The employee must regularly and reliably report to work on time each working day.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full-cycle, high-volume recruiting to support growth in operational areas of the organization.
- Promote Groundworks as an employer of choice and recruit high-quality talent while providing customer service to internal and external customers.
- Advise hiring managers on recruiting best practices, human resources compliance, company policies, and departmental procedures.
- Coordinate with Human Resources, hiring managers, and staffing reports to confirm staffing needs.
- Update active requisition data in the applicant tracking system weekly and respond to candidates in a timely manner.
- Manage the applicant tracking system and document open requisitions and applicant activity, including requisition updates, candidate status, interview notes and feedback, new-hire forms, referral forms, and related paperwork.
- Partner with recruiting agencies for recruitment support as approved by the manager.
- Conduct intake calls with hiring managers to review position requirements, establish interview schedules, and determine recruitment strategies.
- Source and recruit qualified candidates through active and passive recruiting methods using tools such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
- Assess candidates for current and future open roles through regular screenings.
- Coordinate in-person and virtual interviews with candidates and hiring managers, and arrange candidate travel itineraries as needed.
- Provide recruiting updates to company stakeholders and track progress and individual performance toward recruiting goals.
- Draft and extend verbal and formal offer letters by the next business day and assist with offer negotiations as needed.
- Track and communicate candidate progress toward offer acceptance to the hiring team and ensure candidates accept offers within the allotted timeframe.
- Maintain collaborative and productive relationships with hiring managers, human resources partners, and company stakeholders.
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- A human resources professional certification is preferred but not required.
- Experience with human resources information systems, including Workday, is preferred.
- Bilingual English and Spanish language ability is preferred.
