Requirements
  • At least one year of experience serving as a Facility Manager for a Department of Defense organization or certification as a Level II DAU Facility Engineer.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, including developing program schedules for facility-related projects.
  • Completion of PMT 0160 or at least one year of experience developing facility project cost estimates.
  • At least one year of experience planning and managing VIP events for Department of Defense and military senior leaders, including serving as master of ceremonies, developing and staffing Letters of Instructions, coordinating at least five VIP events, and verifying required protocols.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and experience using these applications to track and report the progress of at least ten projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense Government Purchase Card operation procedures and associated policies, and proficiency conducting market research using General Services Administration eTools.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • At least 36 months of program or managerial experience, education, or training in work directly related to the position or comparable functions.
  • At least one year of specialized experience coordinating or leading complex facilities sustainment, repair, maintenance, construction, and service-contract work requirements.
  • Experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders to resolve facility job-status, priority, milestone, tracking-procedure, and schedule issues.
  • Knowledge and experience in facilities planning, programming, and funding, including maintenance execution, maintenance actions, and long-range maintenance plans.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of facility administration, planning, design, and construction of major structures and facilities, including space utilization, building environmental systems, fire and security systems, masonry and reinforced concrete construction, roofing systems, energy management, and pavement construction.
  • Ability to determine facility deficiencies and prepare scopes of work for repairs.
  • Experience entering work orders into the SANG 127th iEMS Work Order System.
Responsibilities
  • Review customer requests for emergency, urgent, and routine service and project work.
  • Enter service and project requests into a tracking database and capture pertinent data.
  • Assess the importance of service work and projects relative to financial and mission factors using customer information and management tools.
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and manage risks and issues in a formal repository.
  • Plan and manage VIP events for Department of Defense and military senior leaders.
  • Serve as master of ceremonies and develop and staff Letters of Instructions for events.
  • Coordinate the execution of VIP events and verify that required protocols are performed.
  • Track and report the progress of at least ten projects simultaneously using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Coordinate or lead surveying, inspecting, programming, scoping, estimating, designing, monitoring, reviewing, and managing facilities projects and service contracts.
  • Interact with stakeholders to resolve facility project status, priorities, milestones, tracking procedures, and schedule conflicts and facilitate timely completion.
  • Assess and advise supported clients on the feasibility of facilities requirements.
