- Approximately 2–3 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in a Software-as-a-Service environment, such as account management, inside sales, new business, or existing business.
- Experience managing mid-market and/or enterprise customers, including understanding stakeholder involvement in larger-account decisions.
- Experience with renewals, upselling, or cross-selling and developing existing customer relationships commercially.
- Ability to explain the value of a solution clearly in relation to customers’ challenges and goals.
- Initial practical experience with pipeline management and forecasting, including realistically assessing opportunities and planning next steps in a structured manner.
- Ability to work independently and in an organized manner while managing multiple accounts and opportunities in parallel.
- Clear, reliable communication skills and ability to adapt to different conversation partners.
- Curiosity, willingness to ask questions, and interest in developing strategic account-management skills.
- Fluent German and English, with at least C1 proficiency.
- Manage a portfolio of mid-market customers and selected enterprise accounts independently, prioritizing opportunities and risks and defining clear next steps.
- Manage renewals of existing contracts, from preparing offers and coordinating with customers through price negotiations and closing.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with Customer Success and develop them into concrete opportunities.
- Communicate with different customer-side stakeholders and structure complex decision-making processes.
- Document relevant developments in Salesforce and Planhat, keep opportunities current, and create realistic pipeline forecasts.
- Experience in fleet management or the automotive industry and familiarity with the challenges of that sector.
