Requirements
  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development credential is required.
  • At least one year of warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication products and services is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Proficiency using a Windows-based computer is required.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and promptly is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is required.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check is required.
  • Ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination to obtain and maintain a Department of Transportation Health Card is required.
  • Ability to lift or move objects weighing 10 to 50 pounds regularly and objects weighing more than 100 pounds occasionally is required.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and occasionally sit, climb, or balance is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and peers is required.
  • Willingness to work in outside weather conditions, restricted spaces, and difficult lighting or access conditions is required.
Responsibilities
  • Receive incoming shipments and compare items with invoices and work orders.
  • Review shipping orders to determine where items should be stored, distributed, or shipped.
  • Assemble orders from stock and place them on pallets or shelves, or relocate them to a holding or shipping area.
  • Verify inventory quantities and assist with inventory-level maintenance.
  • Move equipment and materials to designated areas and prepare parcels for mailing or shipping.
  • Sort and store equipment and materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Record equipment and materials received or distributed in the designated tracking system and complete all required paperwork accurately.
  • Inspect equipment and materials being shipped or received and report defective or damaged items.
  • Communicate with managers and notify them of shipment problems or concerns.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely.
  • Clean and maintain the warehouse so it remains safe and accessible.
  • Travel up to 75% as required.
  • Use computers and general office equipment regularly.
  • Maintain verbal and face-to-face contact with others daily.
