About the company

Shrimp Basket is a casual, family-friendly seafood restaurant chain with locations across Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi. It serves Gulf Coast seafood in a full-service setting with dine-in, take-out, and third-party delivery, featuring fried, grilled, and steamed shrimp, oysters, flounder, and catfish, plus non-seafood items. Its signature offering includes hand-breaded seafood baskets with sides such as southern slaw, hushpuppies, and corn fritters. The chain emphasizes an affordable dining experience and Southern hospitality, operating under Artistry Restaurants with national expansion plans. A key differentiator is its Gulf Coast focus and the Gulf to Guest initiative launched in May 2025 to source wild-caught Gulf seafood and other domestic fisheries. The overall goal is to grow a widely accessible, family-friendly seafood brand anchored in Gulf-region sourcing.
