Requirements
  • A current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license is required in the state where the applicant is applying.
  • The role requires sound decision-making based on analysis, experience, and judgment.
  • The role requires cultural competency and sensitivity to patients’ unique experiences and backgrounds.
  • The role requires the ability to multitask and remain calm and organized under pressure and in stressful situations.
Responsibilities
  • Complete client health screenings and provide direct care and nursing services as needed, including monitoring chronic health conditions.
  • Evaluate medical complaints and concerns from residents during on-site hours and relay information to the appropriate nurse practitioner or medical doctor.
  • Serve as part of patients’ multidisciplinary treatment teams.
  • Administer medications and order medication refills.
  • Comply with policies and procedures, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act requirements, medical protocols, infection control, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in residential nursing is preferred but not required.
  • Provide compassionate, patient-first care supporting high standards of delivery.
