- At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist.
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist.
- A Master's of Science in Nursing.
- A current New York State registered nurse license, or willingness to obtain one.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Administer, monitor, and manage patient care before, during, and after anesthesia.
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist.
- Provide patient-centered anesthesia care and monitor patient recovery.
- Provide anesthesia care for lumbar spine surgeries and obstetric procedures using nitrous oxide, regional analgesia, and intravenous analgesia.
- Doctor of Nursing Practice or Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice.
