About the job
- Registered Pharmacist in the Netherlands with BIG registration and registration as openbaar apotheker.
- Strong understanding of Dutch pharmacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy management or supervisory role.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription validation, dispensing and safe delivery of medicines to patients.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch pharmacy laws, including the Geneesmiddelenwet and Opiumwet, online pharmacy requirements, and company policies and standards.
- Verify prescriptions, including those issued through online consultations, and carry out medication surveillance.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stock management, cold-chain storage and procurement processes.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and guidance to patients and healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks, and act as the main contact for IGJ inspections.
- Experience in online pharmacy.
