Citi Travel provides customers with the ability to earn and redeem ThankYou® points by booking flights, hotels, car rentals and attractions. Citi Travel is part of the ThankYou Rewards program and serves as a key part of the overall rewards strategy. This role will focus on leading product strategy innovation and development, and overall enhancement of the hotel travel program. This role will also lead the Luxury and Hotel Collection by building and maintaining strong partnerships with top tier hotel brands while delivering incremental value to customers.
This role will be responsible for the following:
- Develop Citi Travel’s value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a hotel partner to Citi Travel customers.
- Design and deliver a seamless and rewarding hotel program customer experience for Citi Travel clients.
- Evaluate the potential to leverage and implement our travel eco system with other strategic hotel partners.
- Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution of hotel partner integration.
- Actively drive year over year growth, including, but not limited to, increasing customer transactions, customer visits and overall engagement of the hotel program.
- Monitoring, reporting and analytics of the hotel program and benefits utilization that drives strategic initiatives.
- Manage external partners and ongoing relationships related to the Citi Travel hotel program.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience and a successful proven track record within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry.
- 5+ years of experience in partner management with a focus on building and managing partnerships in the travel space.
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Project management and governance experience with the proven ability to develop project plans and drive a diverse group of stakeholders to identify and achieve milestones within deadlines.
- Superior organizational skills, with proven ability to successfully manage multiple, concurrent priorities in addition to strong judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Experience working on hotel programs within the travel, OTA and/or rewards space.
- Self-motivated with a passion for establishing and maintaining a culture of control within the business.
- Demonstrated relationship management skills with ability to deepen relationships, build partnerships, and influence a group of diverse stakeholders across the businesses and key functional support areas.
- Detail oriented, with proven ability to question and identify opportunities within existing processes and business practices by leveraging previous experiences and knowledge of the business.
- Deep functional knowledge of Credit Card Rewards is a plus.
- Pragmatic problem-solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.

$125,760.00 - $188,640.00
