About the Job

Requirements

  • You have successfully built and scaled a student, creator, or ambassador program before.
  • You are comfortable with cold direct messages, calls with student unions, and attending student events.
  • You have operator skills for managing contracts, trackers, payouts, and follow-ups.
  • You are knowledgeable about music and trends on campuses.
  • You are based in the United States and willing to travel to campuses.

Responsibilities

  • Build GRAI's student community function from zero, including a framework for working with universities and high schools in the United States, an ambassador base, and a repeatable playbook.
  • Map the groups that influence campus communities, including Greek life, sports teams, music organizations, student radio, and party promoters, and connect with people in those groups.
  • Recruit, contract, incentivize, onboard, and maintain engagement with ambassadors.
  • Build campus density before expanding to additional campuses.
  • Plan and execute on-the-ground activations, including parties featuring GRAI music, sticker and QR drops, and on-site quizzes; test approaches, iterate, and discontinue ineffective ones.
  • Build relationships with student organizations, university administrators, and school authorities when formal approval is needed.
  • Feed student usage observations and feature requests back to product and marketing.
  • Document a playbook that makes successful campus practices repeatable by other operators.

About the Company

GRAI

Music AI infrastructure enabling collaborative remixes

GRAI builds infrastructure for participatory music experiences that let people remix licensed songs they love, not just generate from scratch. Its apps—Music with Friends (iOS) and Remix Playground (Android)—enable collaborative remixing and provide an AI music sandbox. The platform uses a taste and participation graph, a real-time audio system, and a derivatives pipeline that keeps every remix linked to the original track so royalties can be shared with rights holders. By focusing on rights-aligned remixing and linked derivatives, GRAI aims to grow consumer products and create a new monetization path for artists, labels, and creators.
