Requirements
  • A Property and Casualty Broker’s License is required upon hire.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Prior retail brokerage experience is required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are required.
  • Familiarity with EPIC or another agency management system is required.
  • At least 7 years of industry experience with a strong background in commercial insurance is ideal.
  • The ability to evaluate client program data, identify trends and risk considerations, and translate analysis into practical recommendations is required.
  • The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, attention-to-detail, collaboration, client-interaction, and written communication abilities.
  • The candidate must be able to accommodate travel when required.
Responsibilities
  • Implement the renewal strategy and service model by managing renewal timelines, milestones, stakeholder responsibilities, and client deliverables.
  • Support pre-renewal planning by coordinating strategy discussions, gathering exposure information, reviewing loss experience, confirming client objectives, and documenting renewal goals and next steps.
  • Coordinate with Brokers, Placement, Service, Claims, Accounting, and Global Capabilities Centers teams to complete applications, submissions, proposals, binding instructions, policies, endorsements, certificates, billing items, and post-renewal services.
  • Assist Brokers in developing go-to-market strategies, identifying target markets, submission requirements, negotiation priorities, coverage opportunities, and strategies to improve pricing, terms, conditions, limits, and program outcomes.
  • Support stewardship by identifying program changes, service accomplishments, open issues, risk management opportunities, coverage recommendations, and renewal considerations.
  • Maintain accurate client, policy, exposure, activity, and follow-up information in EPIC and other workflow tools.
  • Coordinate quality control for renewal and post-binding outputs, including binder and policy review, coverage checklists, certificates of insurance, endorsements, subjectivities, surplus lines documentation, affidavits, due diligence forms, invoicing, and finance agreements.
  • Participate in client visits and meetings to support relationship management, understand client needs, reinforce service priorities, and assist with renewal and service discussions.
  • Mentor Account Manager colleagues and other teammates by providing guidance, sharing technical and service-model knowledge, supporting professional development, and reinforcing service standards.
  • Apply the company service model, including its processes, tools, resources, templates, timelines, and service standards, to support consistent execution.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation or similar designation is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Experience using artificial intelligence, data, graphs, and analytics to support recommendations is preferred.

Insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has announced the appointment of Dr. Fabian Bohnert as EMEA Managing Director of Life Solutions, Strategy and Technology Group, effective immediately. Based in Stuttgart, Bohnert will lead Life Solutions, including the firm's PathWise platform, across Germany and the DACH region, overseeing advisory, capital and technology strategy to help clients address complex business priorities, build resilience and pursue profitable growth. The executive will also serve as UK and EMEA Head of PathWise AI, where he will drive the development of AI-enabled consulting and solution offerings for life and annuity clients across the region.
