Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • 7+ years proven design and management experience in road, earthworks, drainage, and general civil infrastructure projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of key client design standards, that may include Main Roads WA Public Transport Authority, mining clients, Local Government Authorities, and Service Authorities
  • Exceptional collaboration in a complex multi-disciplinary environment and relationship building skills both for internal and external client relationships
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines while delivering high-quality work
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks, including those of other team members, efficiently
  • Relevant on-site credentials (e.g. white card) and a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
  • Leading and coordinating the design and documentation of road, earthworks, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects, contributing to major developments
  • Working across a diverse range of market sectors, including energy, mining, water, transport, property and buildings
  • Mentoring junior team members, enforcing client standards, and fostering a culture of quality and precision
  • Engaging with clients and multi-discipline teams to deliver high-impact projects, enhancing relationships to deliver outstanding client experiences
  • Developing technical and leadership skills through on-the-job and formal training, with opportunities to contribute across planning, design, and construction phases
  • Participating in design meetings to influence project outcomes and ensure deliverables meet high-performance standards
Desired Qualifications
  • Proficiency in using software such as 12D and AutoCAD is desired but not essential
