At Blue Origin, we envision millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. We’re working to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems within a culture of safety, collaboration, and inclusion. Join our diverse team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!
This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership, and collaboration skills to positively impact safe human spaceflight. In this role, you will support and continuously improve the execution of our systems engineering risk, issue, and opportunity processes. You will work directly with engineering and program management teams to identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities and lead mitigation strategies and burndown plans. Responsibilities include managing the risk database, facilitating risk review boards, and coaching team members through the risk process. You must also possess a passion for improving metrics and reporting systems that provide risk process insight. Your work will enable New Glenn’s successful development and operation of complex spaceflight hardware.
We are looking for someone to apply their technical expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to quality to impact safe human spaceflight positively. Passion for our mission and vision is required!
