How Google Sheets integration transforms SAP data automation for enterprises. Discover how integrating Google Sheets with SAP automation tools accelerates data management, boosting efficiency and reducing manual errors in enterprises. Jasnita Telekomindo Editorial Team Managing SAP data traditionally involves complex interfaces and rigid workflows, often relying heavily on desktop Excel files for batch updates or validations. However, the recent extension of Precisely's Automate Studio to support Google Sheets marks a pivotal shift in how enterprises can streamline SAP data operations. By enabling integrations with cloud-native tools like Google Sheets, organizations can leverage collaborative, real-time spreadsheet environments without sacrificing the robustness necessary for SAP mass data processing. This innovation paves the way for faster, more transparent, and flexible enterprise workflows. SAP's powerful but complex user interfaces often become bottlenecks when business teams need to perform bulk data changes or validations. Historically, Excel-based templates have been the fallback for mass updates, but this approach has drawbacks: * Lack of real-time collaboration: Excel files are static and require manual version control. * Dependency on desktop software: Limits accessibility across devices and locations. * Error-prone manual input: Increases the risk of costly data mistakes. These challenges slow down business processes, impair data accuracy, and elevate operational risk. Adopting Google Sheets as the front-end for SAP data automation brings key advantages: * Cloud-based collaboration: Multiple users can update and validate data simultaneously, enhancing transparency and teamwork. * Accessibility and mobility: Team members access sheets from any device or location, accelerating decision-making. * Templates for mass changes: Pre-designed Google Sheets templates simplify complex SAP transactions like posting and validation. * Reduced SAP interface load: Automate Studio handles SAP backend operations, so users need not navigate time-consuming SAP screens. This integration turns SAP data management from a specialist IT task into a streamlined, user-friendly process accessible to functional staff. * Mass Product Data Updates: Marketing teams can collaboratively update product descriptions or pricing across hundreds of SKUs without waiting for IT scheduling. * Transaction Posting: Finance departments can validate and post multiple financial transactions efficiently through standardized sheets. * Data Validation and Error Correction: Operational teams identify and correct inconsistencies in real-time, improving overall data quality. Studies show digital spreadsheet collaboration paired with backend automation delivers measurable benefits: * 30% reduction in data processing time, thanks to real-time multi-user access compared to Excel workflows. * 25% fewer manual errors in SAP data entries, attributable to validated templates and automation. * 40% improvement in cross-department workflow efficiency, due to enhanced accessibility and ease of collaboration. These figures highlight the substantial operational uplift enterprises can achieve. Enterprises looking to modernize their contact centers and communication platforms can find synergy in adopting Jasnita's solutions alongside SAP automation: * Jasconnect provides cloud-based phone and SMS integration, ensuring business communications seamlessly align with operational backends. * Toschat omnichannel enables unified messaging and AI chatbot support, enhancing customer and internal stakeholder engagement. * TORO AI can complement automated SAP data workflows by delivering AI coaching and agent assistance, improving workforce productivity. Precisely has launched AI Studio, a collection of ready-made applications, agents, and skills designed to accelerate enterprise AI development. The offering helps builders create AI solutions compatible with tools including Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT, working with the Precisely Platform's data quality and enrichment capabilities. According to McKinsey's State of AI report, nearly two-thirds of organisations remain in experimental or pilot mode, unable to scale AI across their enterprises. AI Studio addresses this challenge by providing working examples that demonstrate how to prepare data for AI applications. The platform includes assets for geocoding addresses, launching governance workflows, and configuring data replication pipelines. Partner Korem noted that development time has reduced from months to days using the natural language interface. AI Studio is available immediately with a free trial for new users.
Precisely launches unified AI data platform and AI Studio library of agents and apps. Data management software company Precisely Software Inc. today introduced the Precisely Platform, a unified system designed to make enterprise data ready for artificial intelligence. Developers also get Precisely AI Studio, a library of ready-made AI agents and apps. Precisely is pitching the platform as an answer to the "patchwork of point solutions" enterprises use to manage data held in cloud lakehouses as well as older mainframe and SAP systems. When agents start acting on that data by themselves, a mistake a person might once have caught can become an automated decision before anyone steps in. Stewart Bond, an International Data Corp. vice president who tracks data intelligence and integration software, said many organizations "continue to struggle with fragmented data environments" as pressure builds to put AI to work. He described the industry as shifting toward "unified data intelligence platforms." On the Precisely Platform, nothing has to be migrated into a single ecosystem first, since data is managed "where it lives," as Precisely put it. Every tool on it, master data management included, draws on one metadata and semantic layer. A rule or policy defined once applies across all of them. Work that Precisely said "previously required specialized expertise," such as writing data quality rules and matching records, is now handled by AI built into the platform. Every data asset can also carry quality and governance scores, which Precisely wants executives to treat as evidence of what is fit for AI and where risk remains. "Agents don't stop to question the data they're given," said Matt Waxman, chief product officer at Precisely. "They act on it at scale, far faster than people can catch and correct errors." Precisely calls location intelligence and built-in data enrichment the platform's "distinctive capabilities." Its enrichment data arrives "pre-linked" with location and business attributes for more than 250 countries and territories. The company describes the result as "a connected, machine-readable model of the world" for AI to work from. Gio, the platform's AI assistant, is one way in. Application programming interfaces, software development kits and a command-line interface let teams use the platform from tools they already run. New Model Context Protocol servers, also out today, open the platform and a number of existing Precisely products to assistants such as Claude, Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT. AI Studio is the part of today's news aimed at developers. Its assets work with all three of those assistants, and Precisely says users can start prototyping within minutes. Several show how to improve data with platform features such as address geocoding and data replication pipelines. The collection also includes apps and agents that build on that data, such as a property analyzer and a real estate intelligence agent. Waxman said a convincing AI demo is the easy part compared with "building AI you can trust at scale." At Precisely partner Korem Inc., a Canadian geospatial firm, time to value on customer projects "used to be calculated in months," according to Jimmy Duchesne, director of solutions innovation and presales. He said it can now be measured in days. The Precisely Platform is in preview and is due to reach general availability in early 2027. AI Studio is available now, and new users can sign up for a free trial. Precisely, which went by the name Syncsort until 2020, will walk through both launches at a virtual event Thursday. Precisely launches AI Studio to jumpstart enterprise AI development. New offering gives builders access to ready-made AI apps, agents, and skills that help accelerate AI development on a trusted data foundation * October 06, 2026 Precisely, a leader in unified data management for AI-ready data, today announced the availability of Precisely AI Studio, a curated collection of ready-made apps, agents, and skills that help builders to develop AI solutions. The assets in AI Studio work with AI tools, including Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and ChatGPT. Builders can avoid starting from scratch, with working examples that show how to make data AI-ready, using capabilities such as data quality and enrichment, available in the Precisely Platform. Precisely AI Studio is available immediately. New users can sign up for a free trial. Enterprise AI has reached an inflection point. According to McKinsey's State of AI report, nearly two-thirds of organizations are still experimenting or in pilot mode, unable to scale AI across the enterprise. The barrier isn't AI; it is the trustworthiness of the data AI runs on. AI Studio helps data teams, engineers, and developers accelerate the creation of agents, skills, AI workflows, and AI-powered applications on data that has been made more visible, reliable, accountable, and complete using the Precisely Platform. "Building a compelling AI demo is one thing. Building AI you can trust at scale is much harder," said Matt Waxman, Chief Product Officer, Precisely. "We took our decades of experience solving the most complex data challenges and populated AI Studio with the apps, agents, and skills that lower the barrier to building AI applications on top of AI-ready data. It's about shortening the path from experimentation to production without compromising on results." The growing collection of assets in Precisely AI Studio will continue to expand over time, helping builders begin prototyping within minutes. Some assets help developers improve their data using Precisely Platform capabilities such as geocoding addresses, launching governance workflows, configuring data replication pipelines, and more. Other assets build on that data, such as the property analyzer app or the real estate intelligence agent. "As a deeply technical Precisely partner, Korem has historically invested a significant amount of effort in building proof of value examples for our customers. Even more effort has been invested in creating Precisely-based solutions that are deployed in their environments. Being able to interact with data and engines from Precisely with natural language, and easily build GeoAgentic solutions, has been a game changer. Time to value used to be calculated in months. Now, it can be calculated in days." Jimmy Duchesne, Director, Solutions Innovation & Presales, Korem. Many AI projects stall because builders lack a starting point, spending considerable time figuring out what's even possible before they build anything real. AI Studio helps close that gap, giving builders a starting point so they can focus on solving real problems, not figuring out where to begin. Precisely AI Studio is available now. Precisely brings trusted data management and customer communications to AI agents with no custom integration required. Vom nachrichtendienst. 06 Okt, 2026, 13:28 GMT Artikel teilen. New MCP servers connect AI agents and assistants to the Precisely products and capabilities customers already use BURLINGTON, Mass., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - Precisely, a leader in unified data management for AI-ready data, today announced Model Context Protocol (MCP) server support for multiple products across the Precisely portfolio. The new servers connect MCP-compatible AI agents and assistants to the trusted data management and customer communications capabilities that Precisely customers rely on, without building custom integrations. As organizations rapidly adopt AI agents, many are discovering that AI is only as trustworthy as the data and processes it relies on. Yet connecting agents to high-quality, governed, and enriched enterprise data, and the customer communication workflows that put that data into action, often require specialized tools or custom integrations. Precisely MCP servers help lower that barrier by enabling agents and assistants to access capabilities such as data cleansing, address verification, mainframe sort optimization, SAP(R) process automation, and customer communications. Through data, rules, business definitions, and workflows, organizations can maintain existing security and governance controls within their AI-powered operations, helping customers connect existing Precisely investments to their broader data and AI ecosystem. "For decades, organizations have relied on Precisely to help keep their data visible, reliable, accountable, and complete," said Matt Waxman, Chief Product Officer at Precisely. "AI is becoming a primary way people interact with enterprise systems, often through natural language, and agents are increasingly taking action across business and communications workflows. That leaves less room for error, particularly in regulated industries. AI agents need access to the same trusted data management capabilities and established controls organizations already rely on." Initial MCP server support enables MCP-compatible AI agents and assistants to work across Precisely products including: * Precisely Automate initiates and interacts with SAP automation workflows while maintaining the organization's own governed business processes. * Precisely Data360 prepares and analyzes data using Data360 Analyze to create, inspect, update, and run data flows. * Precisely EngageOne(TM) connects customer communications workflows using EngageOne(TM) RapidCX, including triggering new communications, inspecting communication activity, and customer engagement history, with all requests scoped to the user and recorded in an audit log. * Precisely EnterWorks(TM) enables natural-language search across master data, helping users find and understand data without navigating MDM structures. * Precisely Spectrum enables trusted address verification, geocoding, data enrichment, and job and dataflow management. * Precisely Trillium helps cleanse, match, and validate records using trusted business rules. * Precisely Syncsort(TM) optimizes mainframe sorting; explaining messages, troubleshooting jobs, and generating sort, copy, and merge logic grounded in Syncsort(TM) MFX documentation and knowledge base articles. These capabilities will be available in the coming months. With Precisely MCP servers, organizations can now work to improve the data and communications fueling their AI, increase the reliability of AI-driven outcomes, and empower teams to automate with confidence. Precisely MCP Servers are built on the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), exposing existing scripts and workflows as AI-callable tools. This standards-based approach works across Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, and any future AI platform that adopts the protocol, without rebuilding integrations. MCP servers for additional products will be made available in 2027. New customers can request an MCP server demo. For existing customers, Precisely MCP servers are available on a subscription basis to customers with certain select subscription products. Customers are welcome to contact their Precisely account executive for availability and implementation options.
