Requirements
  • 7-15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management in a CPG
  • An inclusive leader with 3-5 years' experience building a team, coaching and mentoring
  • Effective communicator with the ability to give and receive actionable feedback
  • Hands on experience managing and improving transportation, and warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with Logistics systems and tools like Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Proficiency in data analytics and financial acumen
  • Ability to be a collaborative team member in a dynamic growth environment
  • Ability to step away from the details and share the big picture impact to everyone within the VMS Co-Op
  • An analytical thinker with a bias toward action, collaboration and proactive problem-solving
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to support company’s short- and long-term goals​
  • Oversee Warehousing and Transportation operations and ensure all suppliers are meeting service, cost, quality and innovation needs for the VMS​
  • Develop, own and report Logistics KPI’s ​
  • Ensure Logistics meets regulatory and audit requirements​
  • Develop and implement operational and Financial Annual Operating Plan​
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor and improve logistics operations​
  • Drive continuous improvements and cost savings opportunities​
  • Manage relationship and negotiate with vendors to secure the best rates and service​
  • Create metrics for service and all primary suppliers based on input from cross functional partners​
  • Develop formal quarterly supplier relationship management for all primary suppliers​
  • Collaborate with the Health & Wellbeing Collective on key supply chain initiatives​
  • Create a culture of performance, continuous improvement and collaboration while living by the values of our operating companies
