Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 10 or more years of experience.
- Demonstrate problem-solving, project management, and statistical analysis skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
- Prepare bills of quantities, validate them, and propose cost-effective alternatives to manage project financials, cash flow, and payments.
- Prepare project charters and manage the complete project cycle.
- Have knowledge of change management and control.
- Make independent decisions related to assigned activities and take accountability for assigned tasks while working autonomously.
- Be able to deal with unpredictable situations and difficult conversations, and remain positive in difficult situations.
- Adhere to project and quality standards regardless of functional area.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and coordinate installations including telecommunications, power, compressed air, HVAC, water, and captive power plants; oversee their operation, maintenance, and refurbishment.
- Ensure effective waste management and recycling, including disposal of industrial effluents and waste or treated water in accordance with industrial safety norms.
- Review utilities consumption and inspect civil, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure to identify repair or renovation needs and minimize costs.
- Analyze energy and water consumption and expenditure, identify improvement and cost-saving projects, and drive conservation initiatives to reduce costs and consumption of natural resources year over year.
- Plan and execute building construction or extension projects based on business requirements and future expansions, and coordinate internal and external construction approvals.
- Coordinate and ensure civil and utilities legal and statutory requirements are fulfilled on schedule.
- Calculate costs, prepare and review budgets, identify capital purchases, and control revenue and capital budgets.
- Assist Procurement with facility-management service contracts, consultancy support, and work contracts in accordance with Bosch financial and procurement policies and procedures.
- Ensure health and safety compliance, 5S at the workplace, compliance with C/AU audit points, and HSE audits.
- Maintain housekeeping standards on the shop floor, in toilets, and in facilities.
