  • An engineering degree is required; Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive engineering is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience executing full-vehicle systems engineering projects is required, with Stellantis experience preferred.
  • Experience with Capital Logic, Integrator, or an equivalent schematic design tool.
  • Ability to represent LEONI professionally with customers, supported by strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience executing full-vehicle systems engineering projects.
  • Understanding of harness, inline, and device-to-harness partitioning.
  • Knowledge of cable and sub-assembly partitioning.
  • Understanding of ground and network topology.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Organize systems engineering efforts to create and maintain electrical/electronic schematics in LEONI and customer systems.
  • Independently process electrical/electronic systems designs and represent LEONI to customers and partners.
  • Import Wiring DEF files for all families and their sub-suppliers, including large, medium, small, data/communication, high-voltage, and battery families.
  • Troubleshoot data and software issues and resolve them with customers and business partners.
  • Train and support junior team members.
  • Create HRN, CMP, and CSV files from imported DEF files.
  • Support the DEF quality team with DEF checks.
  • Create system-level DVP&R.
  • Determine inline positioning.
  • Perform resistance checks to meet system requirements.
  • Confirm that designs meet terminal-plating and special requirements.
  • Create subcomponent lists for terminals, seals, and other components according to housing information.
  • Create inline list files containing X/Y numbers, male/female designations, connector part numbers, descriptions, and related information.
  • Create inline pinouts.
  • Create inline device transmittals, including special requirements and terminal plating.
  • Select wire gauges.
  • Provide splice information to the Design Release Engineer for integration into the 3D design.
  • Troubleshoot wire harnesses for the full vehicle.
