JD -IT Infra Architect
About the Role
As our IT Architect, you will be the technical compass for a multi-disciplinary team supporting infrastructure, cloud, business applications, and IT service management. You’ll drive architectural decisions, ensure seamless integration, and champion best practices across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Vision & Strategy:
Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for IT services, infrastructure, and business applications. Align architecture with business goals, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
- Technology Leadership:
Provide expert advice on solution design, integration, and optimization.
- Solution Design & Integration:
Lead the design of end-to-end solutions, ensuring interoperability between platforms such as ServiceNow, ManageEngine, and various SaaS applications. Oversee API strategies, data flows, and system interfaces.
- Decision-Making Authority:
Own architecture decisions for new initiatives, enhancements, and troubleshooting. Balance technical feasibility, cost, scalability, and compliance in all recommendations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with service delivery, application support, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions. Facilitate workshops, architecture reviews, and governance forums.
- Governance & Best Practices:
Establish and enforce architecture standards, review processes, and documentation. Ensure adherence to ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management) and regulatory guidelines.
- Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Identify opportunities for automation, service improvement, and technology transformation. Lead initiatives for innovation, transformation, and joint go-to-market projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT leadership. Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions. Communicate architectural concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience:
- 8+ years in IT architecture or solution design roles, preferably in managed services or multi-vendor environments.
- Proven track record across infrastructure (Windows, Linux, VMware, Storage, Networking), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), workplace technologies (O365, Teams, Intune).
- Strong background in system integration, API management, and data interoperability.
- Certifications (Preferred):
TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL, or equivalent.
- Skills:
- Enterprise architecture frameworks and solution design methodologies.
- ITSM tools and processes (ServiceNow, ManageEngine).
- Security best practices and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
