THE POSITION
As a UK Business Development Representative (BDR) at Zeta Global, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, driving growth and market share by identifying and engaging with potential clients. You will be responsible for generating leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings for the sales team. Your role is vital in building a strong pipeline of new business opportunities and contributing to the overall sales strategy.
This role is part of the CRM team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive new business demand across a spectrum of channels (email, social, phone, event)
- Meet all KPIs as set forth by the VP sales
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned monthly, quarterly and annual quotas
- Drive the acquisition of new logos within the target market (UK)
- Efficiently and effectively qualify and process assigned leads into sales opportunities
- Become versed in our cutting-edge technologies
- Research and gather business intelligence on prospective customers to enhance and personalise messaging and alignment
- Attend trade shows and other events to build engagement, interest and brand awareness
- Provide follow-up activities consistent with the lifecycle of the sale to ensure meetings are confirmed and attended smoothly
- Collaborate with the VP sales on demand generation initiatives to maximise performance and outputs

- Ability to learn the business benefits of technology and confidently articulate those benefits to a prospect

- Ability to adapt, contribute and succeed in a fast paced, rapidly changing, technology sales environment
- Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects and customers
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to create a strong sense of value beyond simple product capability
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and an outgoing, energetic presence
- Excellent phone, inquiry, and presentation skills
- Technology fluency to demonstrate and answer questions regarding our products
- Strong time management and organizational discipline
- Knowledge of MS Office products
- Knowledge of sales technologies, including lead management software
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as needed
THE CANDIDATE
- 1-2 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
- Naturally curious with a thirst for knowledge and knowledge application
- Strong communication skills via phone, email and social
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organisation
