Apr 24, 2026 Company Wins Prestigious Heil Trophy in the Harvison Division OAK BROOK, IL - April 23, 2026 - Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC announced that it has been recognized by the NTTC as the 2025 North American Safety Champion within the association's Harvison division. Each year, the NTTC awards a Heil Trophy to the grand champions of three carrier divisions: the Harvison division for large for-hire carriers, the Southerland division for small for-hire carriers, and the private fleet division. Premier Bulk Systems has acquired fellow bulk liquid hauler Longhorn Transportation for an undisclosed sum. The deal gives Ontario, Canada-based Premier Bulk Systems a presence in the Maritime Provinces along Canada’s east coast. New Brunswick, Canada-based Longhorn provides bulk liquid truckload services, hauling petroleum products, asphalt and chemicals. The 21-year-old carrier also provides flatbed and dry van TL transportation. “The addition of Longhorn into Premier’s operating network is highly complementary and leaves us well-positioned for ongoing commercial success and future growth,” said Kevin Berry, Premier’s founder and president, in a news release. Combination Expands Heniff's Network and Multimodal Service Offerings. Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC announced today that it has acquired the corporate holding company of tank truck operator Coal City Cob Company, Inc. Through this most recent acquisition, Heniff continues to accelerate its industry-leading growth in the tank truck industry's chemical space. Coal City Cob ("CCC") operates with over 230 drivers and 500 trailers within its nationwide network of terminals, including a significant rail-to-truck bulk transfer yard and tank wash facility at its headquarters in Waxahachie, Texas. The existing Heniff and CCC teams will work closely to ensure a timely and efficient integration between the two networks, with a focus on combined customer, employee, and driver satisfaction.
