About the job
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check screening.
- Must be able to learn and retain inventory knowledge to assist guests seeking specific products and upsell retail products.
- Must be able to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
- Must demonstrate exceptional accuracy when using point-of-sale systems.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, walk long distances, climb stairs, work around crowded equipment or people, and lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work comfortably around special effects such as haze, strobe lights, and lasers, and in loud environments.
- Must be able to walk up to 0.5 miles to and from designated employee parking areas in varying weather conditions and during high-traffic event times.
- Must have a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work in cold and hot indoor and outdoor temperatures.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in English.
- Greet fans and provide world-class service.
- Assist fans with retail purchases through point-of-sale systems.
- Assist with stocking retail merchandise on the sales floor.
- Assist with replenishing retail merchandise on displays and shelves during and after games.
- Assist with merchandise inventory.
- Work in different retail or event functions as needed, including e-commerce, hockey games, concerts, and warehouse operations.
- Experience working in retail or sales.
- Cash-handling skills.
