- BS or MS in Computer Science and solid computer science fundamentals
- 2+ years of backend development experience
- Experience with a statically typed language, e.g. Go, C++, or Java
- A solid understanding of Kubernetes and AWS or GCP, or willingness to learn
- Great written and spoken communication skills about technical topics
- Build Observe agent and data pipeline to collect and transfer high-volume observability data from hosts, Kubernetes and cloud services, to Observe backend
- Build the control plane for managing fleets of agent at scale
- Solve complex scalability and performance challenges in both data and control plane

Frontend Observability provides open-source agents and uses OpenTelemetry-based software development kits (SDKs) to collect data from users' browsers and mobile applications. Most importantly, it also correlates user journeys with both business metrics and back-end performance to understand incident impact and expedite resolution.
