About the job
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are required.
- The ability to train and mentor peers is required; the role has no supervisory title.
- The candidate must be organized and able to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
- Basic math skills are required.
- A professional, service-oriented attitude is required.
- Knowledge of safety, housekeeping, and personal protective equipment practices is required.
- Set up production lines, monitor kit preparation, and perform First Piece Approval.
- Direct and motivate Fulfillment Associates, flex employees, and temporary staff to meet specifications.
- Conduct in-process audits, enforce quality standards, and stop production when needed to correct concerns.
- Verify and report labor data, complete job tickets, and track efficiency metrics.
- Use the EZPOP system and Hydra for preflighting, and use Excel for formatting.
- Pack, count, label, and shrink wrap items, and operate equipment.
- Follow environmental practices, including recycling, waste reduction, and energy conservation.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for the kit packing line.
- Experience with fulfillment operations and enterprise resource planning systems is preferred but not required.
