Requirements
  • J.D. or LL.B. degree with outstanding academic credentials
  • Active and in good standing in at least one State Bar in the United States
  • Working knowledge of privacy law and experience negotiating DPAs
  • Privacy certification in one or more jurisdictions
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant legal experience
  • Experience with SaaS, subscription agreements, reseller agreements, and other cloud-based and technology-related offerings preferred
Responsibilities
  • Drafting and negotiating a broad range of standard and non-standard commercial agreements
  • Researching and staying abreast of changes to relevant law and regulations
  • Creating and revising legal documentation, policies, guidelines, and standard forms
  • Working in real-time through regular interaction with internal and external clients regarding legal and regulatory requirements
  • Creating, maintaining, and updating templates to improve workflow and efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned
