About the Company

Arch Capital Group

Underwrites insurance, reinsurance, and mortgage insurance

Arch Capital Group operates globally in three lines: insurance, reinsurance, and mortgage insurance. The Insurance segment covers specialty lines, the Reinsurance segment provides property and casualty reinsurance, and the Mortgage segment offers mortgage insurance and reinsurance products. It underwrites risk, sets premiums, and earns investment income, with mortgage insurance protecting lenders against borrower defaults. Its differentiation comes from disciplined underwriting, strong risk management, and capital allocation, supported by a global footprint and diverse clients; its goal is to maintain financial strength and steady profitability through prudent risk assessment and capital management.
