  • Some college credits are preferred.
  • At least 1–2 years of administrative or front-desk experience is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and basic data-entry skills are required.

  • Experience working in a school, youth, or afterschool program setting is required.
  • Familiarity with DYCD Connect, attendance systems, or similar software is required.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist parents, students, staff, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate sign-in and sign-out logs for students, visitors, and staff.
  • Communicate important messages between families and program staff in a timely manner.
  • Assist with daily attendance tracking and reporting.
  • Support the Program Director with filing, photocopying, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Help maintain student files, enrollment forms, and other required documentation in compliance with licensing and DYCD/DOH regulations, if applicable.
  • Maintain front-office supplies and ensure materials are organized and readily available.
  • Support coordination of parent communication, newsletters, and event notices.
  • Assist with scheduling parent meetings, trainings, or site events.
  • Help ensure all visitors follow safety and security procedures.
  • Provide general support to program staff, especially during student arrival and dismissal periods.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bilingual ability, including English and Spanish or another language, is a plus.
