Responsibilities
  • Handles a range of complex duties (moderate to material) involving client transactions and problem resolution including but not limited to money transfers and client onboarding
  • Under supervision and direction of the Group Support Leader, supports other operational needs of the Specialty business such as BSA/AML coordination for SEG, Reg-E international wire processing, etc.
  • Participate in key projects, as needed
  • Participate in testing of new processes and/or software and provide feedback on the potential impact to the execution of the Specialty business
  • Specific to Financial Management and Bill Pay specialists: onboard clients for Bill Pay Services once client service team has opened new client account; including setting up the bill pay account for use with accounting software, setting up electronic statement delivery, establishing online access credentials and creating master checklist of bills and templates for recurring transaction recording in accounting software
  • interfaces directly with bill pay client vendors for establishment of services and/or issues resolution
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining master checklist for each bill pay client to ensure regular bills are paid accurately and on time
  • Proactively identifies and escalates issues to vendors, clients, or Wealth Advisory team related to bill payments including notification when amount seems to be unreasonably high or low
  • Creates and maintains client records such as transaction records, agreements, contracts, payroll, tax preparation, retirement & estate planning documents, etc.
  • Prepares, produces and delivers monthly reports for Bill Pay clients using Truist approved processes, systems and applications, which include transaction records, budget variance / cash flow reports, and credit card detail summary
  • Owns and coordinates the annual client budgeting process for Bill Pay clients
  • Specific to International specialists: Analyzes and processes documentation for client onboarding, new account opening and client/account changes
  • Works closely with client team to gather information for FIU pre-approval review
  • Coordinates FIU pre-approval process for all new International Wealth clients and works as a liaison with the FIU teammates
  • Responsible for the client onboarding process of new clients approved by FIU
Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years international private banking and/or CIP/AML experience
  • Ability to speak, read and write in Spanish
