  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce platform development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, etc.).
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale Salesforce solutions, including integrations with external systems.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including data modeling, governor limits, and security features.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on user-centered design solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project needs.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and Salesforce deployment tools (e.g., Salesforce DX, Copado, GitHub).
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce security and compliance protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Salesforce solutions that align with business needs and best practices.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce engineers, providing guidance on technical challenges, best practices, and professional growth.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce technologies, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and integrations with other systems.
  • Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
  • Ensure the team follows Salesforce development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and version control to deliver high-quality, secure code.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features and release cycles, bringing innovative solutions to the table.
  • Ensure that all Salesforce applications adhere to company policies, security standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Understand and maintain compliance with GM standard methodology.
  • Provides mentorship, coaching and/or training to others as appropriate. Holds themselves and others accountable for demonstrating GMs values and cultural behaviors. Models GM behaviors and crafts a winning culture.
  • This role will also have direct responsibility for or will work closely with architects and/or data scientists to ensure code alignment with design.
  • Actively document implementations, so others can easily understand.
Desired Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and 5+ years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Experience in Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce products.
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II
  • Salesforce Certified Application or System Architect is a plus.
