Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant experience)
  • Strong opinions on designing metrics and forecasting system performance.
  • Extensive experience in large scale data analytics.
  • Expertise in Python and SQL.
  • Superb communication skill both verbally and in writing; can communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A track record of working across teams to deliver company-level impact.
Responsibilities
  • Lead development of automated analysis to evaluate the performance of our automated driving technology.
  • Work closely with cloud infrastructure engineers to develop pipelines for processing our data at scale.
  • Partner with our systems engineering teams to define requirements, processes, and procedures for product evaluation.
  • Liaise with autonomy engineers to ensure our analysis empowers them to iterate quickly and ship confidently.
  • Develop tooling, processes, and procedures for verifying and validating our measures of performance.
  • Mentor engineers both within our team and externally.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in autonomous driving systems.
  • Experience with robotics and machine learning.
  • Experience in system verification and validation.
  • Knowledge of perception, prediction, motion planning, and computer vision.
  • Proficiency in C++.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing architectures.
