About the Job

Requirements

  • Hold a current lifeguard certification issued by a recognized organization.
  • Hold CPR and first-aid certifications and have aquatic rescue training.
  • Have 3 years of prior lifeguard experience; hotel, resort, or club experience is preferred.
  • Have basic-intermediate English proficiency.
  • Know pool rescue, towing rescue techniques, CPR, drowning response, and the use of rescue equipment such as flotation devices and defibrillators.
  • Be available for the full schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously monitor the pool and surrounding areas to prevent accidents and identify unsafe behavior or risk situations.
  • Respond immediately to aquatic emergencies using rescue techniques and cardiopulmonary resuscitation when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety rules and capacity controls so guests use the facilities safely.
  • Assist guests, explain safety rules, and answer questions courteously and professionally.
  • Keep the pool area clean and orderly and ensure safety equipment, including rescue equipment and first-aid kits, is available.
  • Periodically check water quality and equipment operation, and report faults or irregularities to maintenance staff.
  • Coordinate with Security, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Management to ensure safe and efficient pool-area operations.

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior lifeguard experience in hotels, resorts, or clubs is preferred.
