Requirements
  • Proven experience in a business development, inside sales, or consultative sales role within the software or technology sector — ideally with exposure to financial services or fintech.
  • A track record of owning pipeline end-to-end in the early stages of a complex sales cycle — not just booking meetings, but driving qualified, high-quality opportunities.
  • The ability to navigate multi-stakeholder environments at senior levels, building credibility quickly and handling sophisticated objections with composure.
  • Hands-on proficiency with modern sales technology — SalesLoft, 6Sense, LeadIQ, LinkedIn Navigator or equivalent — and a data-driven approach to prospecting and prioritisation.
  • Strong commercial acumen: you understand how financial institutions think, buy, and make decisions — or you’re genuinely driven to learn.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (business-level fluency required); additional European languages are a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic territory with multiple priorities in flight simultaneously.
  • A collaborative mindset: you work as part of a team that includes AEs, Marketing, Partners, and Solution Specialists — and you make everyone around you better.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a territory pipeline strategy in close partnership with your aligned Account Executive — owning the full early-stage sales motion from identification through to qualified opportunity.
  • Identify, engage, and qualify prospects across the financial services sector through a combination of outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, social selling, and event follow-up — bringing structure and commercial judgement to every interaction.
  • Lead discovery conversations with senior decision-makers — understanding their strategic priorities, surfacing relevant pain points, and positioning nCino’s value proposition with clarity and credibility.
  • Carry qualified opportunities through initial pipeline stages, maintaining momentum and multi-threaded stakeholder engagement until the appropriate handover point to the Regional Sales Director.
  • Prospect and map key stakeholders within target accounts using intent data and modern sales intelligence tools including SalesLoft, 6Sense, LeadIQ, and LinkedIn Navigator.
  • Track and manage all pipeline activity with rigor in Salesforce — maintaining accurate forecasting data and activity records.
  • Partner with the EMEA Marketing team, Partner network, and Solution Specialists to develop integrated territory campaigns and coordinate on account-based outreach.
  • Represent nCino at sponsored events and industry forums — building your professional profile and generating qualified pipeline from in-person engagement.
  • Contribute market and prospect intelligence back to the wider team, helping sharpen messaging, campaign focus, and territory strategy.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional European languages are a strong advantage
