Quince is a retail and technology company co-founded by a team that has extensive experience in retail, technology and building early stage companies. You’ll work with a team of world-class talent from Stanford GSB, Google, D.E. Shaw, Stitch Fix, Urban Outfitters, Wayfair, McKinsey, Nike etc.

Ideal CandidateWe’re seeking a talented Photographer, Flat-Lay & Still Life to specialize in capturing stunning flat-lay and still-life imagery that highlights our products’ details, textures, and appeal. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, has a strong sense of composition and lighting, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. While flat-lay and still-life photography will be the primary focus, this role also requires flexibility to assist with on-figure shoots when needed. A successful candidate will have a keen eye for design trends, technical expertise, and the ability to consistently deliver on-brand visuals that enhance the online shopping experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute high-quality flat-lay and still-life shoots to showcase product details, such as textures, colors, and intricate designs.
Occasionally assist with on-figure photoshoots, working closely with stylists, models, and the creative team.
Collaborate with the art director, digital tech, and stylists to ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines and creative objectives.
Maintain consistency in image quality across all product and campaign photography.
Utilize advanced lighting and composition techniques to elevate imagery.
Work closely with merchandising teams to ensure all photographed products reflect current inventory and seasonal priorities.
Oversee post-production and retouching processes to deliver polished, ready-to-use images.
Contribute to workflow improvements to streamline flat-lay and still-life photography processes.
Stay updated on trends and innovations in photography, fashion, and e-commerce.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in product photography, with a portfolio showcasing flat-lay and still-life work.
Proficiency in lighting techniques, composition, and photo editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One).
Experience in flat-lay and on-figure photography for e-commerce or fashion brands.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with creative, styling, and merchandising teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining visual consistency and brand alignment.
Familiarity with trends in fashion and e-commerce photography.

We rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. Bonus eligibility varies by role and is determined based on the position’s impact and contribution to our strategic goals.

Pay Range

$135,000—$150,000 USD
