  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 7 years of experience in software engineering
  • At least 4 years of experience in Cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
  • At least 2 years of experience with GCP Services, architecture, and management
  • At least 3 years of experience with Enterprise Search systems
  • At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing large-scale, distributed systems
  • Master's or PhD Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional experience coding in commonly used languages like Java, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript, Swift, etc.
  • 7+ years of experience in Software OR Platform engineering with a focus on search technologies, 3rd Party platform integration, and Cloud implementations
  • 7+ years of contributions to open-source projects or research publications in relevant fields
  • 5+ years of experience with Knowledge Graphs and semantic search technologies
  • 5+ years of experience with Machine Learning (NLP)
  • 5+ years of experience with patents or innovative solutions in search or data science fields
  • 5+ years of experience with Information retrieval and text analytics
Responsibilities
  • Articulate and evangelize a bold technical vision for Enterprise Search and Knowledge Management
  • Architect and design an advanced enterprise search system leveraging the latest in AI and Machine Learning
  • Lead the development and integration of generative AI technologies into our 3rd Party Product Suite
  • Collaborate with product management, Architecture, and Engineering teams to define and implement data-driven strategic roadmaps with a focus on third party platform integrations
  • Provide technical leadership to platform engineers, product managers, and all other stakeholders leveraging a deep understanding of Google product suite and Google Cloud Platform
  • Provide strategic consultation on management and application deployment in Azure and GCP
  • Ensure the quality of technical design and implementation
  • Serve as an authoritative expert on non-functional system characteristics, such as performance, scalability and operability
  • Continue learning and injecting advanced technical knowledge into our community
  • Handle several projects simultaneously, balancing your time to maximize impact
  • Act as a role model and mentor within the tech community, helping to coach and strengthen the technical expertise and know-how of our engineering and product community
