Job Description:

The Department of Oceanography and Coastal Sciences at Louisiana State University (LSU) invites applications for a part-time, gratis instructor appointment. This non-tenure track faculty appointment provides opportunities for periodic teaching in introductory undergraduate courses for majors and non-majors, as well as course development related to the applicant's area of expertise.

Job Responsibilities:

100% Teach up to a 3 credit hour course per semester to majors and non-majors (i.e. general education), related to candidate's specialization either in-person or online and which will be based on the expertise of the instructor. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's Degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, Oceanography, Coastal Sciences, Geography, Geology, or other related areas.
