About the job
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, and manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
- Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment with a high volume of interactions.
- Knowledge of R365 or similar systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP or similar systems is a plus.
- A CPA license or active pursuit of one is required.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese and English is preferred but not required.
- Oversee full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
- Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with the development and documentation of standard operating procedures.
- Oversee or support inventory and cost accounting for multiple restaurant locations.
- Provide cash flow analysis and forecasting support to leadership.
- Collaborate with leadership and upper management.
- Work with the external consultant to ensure alignment of financial controls and policies.
- Oversee accounting and coordinate with cross-functional departments as needed in a multi-state setting.
- Prepare for external audits and assist with interim requests.
- Conduct internal audits when deemed necessary by the job incumbent and department head.
- Handle multi-entity and multi-location accounting.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department head.
