About the job
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software development experience, including experience in Application or Solution Architecture.
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles and the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Hands-on experience designing enterprise applications using Microsoft Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Storage, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure SQL.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Solid understanding of application security, authentication, and authorization.
- Familiarity with Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, or similar AI technologies.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise applications.
- Lead technical design throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Define application architecture, integration patterns, API strategy, and security standards.
- Design scalable, cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure application services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications where appropriate.
- Review technical designs and code to ensure architectural consistency and quality.
- Mentor development teams and promote software engineering best practices.
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI Agents, or Microsoft Copilot technologies.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with event-driven and distributed systems.
- Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
